‘Transformation of Thai Architecture’ has betided from a will to question the development of traditional Thai architecture, which is the national identity orientation, in terms of how to unfold the true identity of Thai architecture—both traditional and contemporary— in a manner capable of meeting the needs of the dynamically changing context while also fulfilling the dimensions of architecture. Through this experimentation, the project seeks opportunities to use the foundations of traditional architecture to answer the according questions.

สถาปัตยกรรม – ไทย – คลี่คลาย

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง “สถาปัตยกรรม-ไทย-คลี่คลาย” เกิดจากการตั้งคําถามเกี่ยวกับพัฒนาการของสถาปัตยกรรมไทยประเพณี ซึ่งเป็นเอกลักษณ์ประจําชาติว่าจะมีหนทางการคลี่คลายให้สามารถแสดงออกถึงเอกลักษณ์ความเป็นไทยทั้งดั้งเดิมและร่วมสมัย ตอบสนองต่อบริบทที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปจากอดีตเพื่อตอบสนองมิติอื่นๆ ของสถาปัตยกรรมได้อย่างไร โดยทดลอง หาความเป็นไปได้ที่จะใช้รากฐานรูปแบบทางสถาปัตยกรรมดั้งเดิมเพื่อหาคําตอบ
