โครงการออกแบบชุดตัวอักษรเชิงทดลอง ด้วยทฤษฎีการตกผลึก

เกิดจากความสนใจในเรื่อง พาไรโดเลีย ซึ่งเป็นการที่เราใช้ประสบการณ์และจินตนาการกับสิ่งที่มีรูปร่างไม่แน่นอน และตีความเพื่อสื่อความหมายออกมาเป็นสิ่งคุ้นเคย เช่น การที่มองก้อนเมฆแล้วสามารถบอกได้ว่ามีลักษณะเป็นรูปสัตว์ต่างๆ เป็นต้น และเพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้กับงานออกแบบ จึงได้นำหลักการ 'การตกผลึก' ซึ่งเป็นการสร้างสรรค์รูปทรงโดยธรรมชาติ ที่เราสามารถควบคุม และ กำหนดขอบเขตของการตกผลึกนั้นได้ มาประยุกต์ใช้ในการออกแบบตัวอักษร โดยมีกระบวนการทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์เข้ามารองรับเพราะตัวอักษรเป็นสิ่งที่มนุษย์ใช้ประสบการณ์และจินตนาการในการทำความเข้าใจร่วมกัน

Experimental Typography Base on Crystallization

This project has been initiated by my interest in Paradolia, which is using our experiences , imaginations, and random objects' shapes to represent something, for example, when you see that the cloud looks like something. This leads to design development in which we can control the boundary and crystalized natural patterns and apply them with our creative design, Typography. Typography design has been certified by a scientific process. Typography is a tool through which human uses their experiences and imagination to comprehend the beauty of nature surrounding us.
