JOINERY (TOY)+SPACE

The idea for this design stems from a need to study the possibility of developing joinery ‘Tan Ot Pan’, Thai traditional toys to utilize spaces in vacant areas through the form of permanent or temporary structures. These structures consider the needs of people in each local area and are also easy to disassemble, move or transport without the limitations imposed by indoor or outdoor furniture installation.

โครงการนี้มีแนวคิดที่ต้องการศึกษาเพื่อหาความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาการเข้าไม้ ‘เถรอดเพล’ เพื่อใช้สร้างและทำประโยชน์ให้กับพื้นที่รกร้าง ว่างเปล่า ห่างไกล ในแบบโครงสร้างถาวรหรือชั่วคราวเพื่อทดลองความต้องการของคนในพื้นที่นั้นๆ และยังสามารถถอดประกอบเพื่อเคลื่อนย้ายไปในที่ต่างๆ ได้ โดยไม่จำกัดว่าจะเป็นที่พักอาศัย ห้องสมุด ลานกิจกรรม แปลงผัก และเฟอร์นิเจอร์ ฯลฯ
